Animal activists are travelling to the east coast of Tas before the opening of duck hunting season tomorrow. Interstate shooters will also travel to Tas due to a moratorium on shooting in other states, and the Coalition Against Duck Shooting has
brought in protesters from Vic. Moulting Lagoon will be the site of the protest tomorrow morning. Rod Drew, CEO, Field and Game Association of Aust, has disputed the claim that statistics show at least 25% of birds shot are wounded.
