Duck season in Tas begins tomorrow. Laurie Levy, Campaign Director, Coalition Against Duck Shooting, outlines what protest action his group will be partaking in. Levy says that with climate change, bird numbers are down. The Coalition Against Duck Shooting is made up of members of the public who aim to stop shooters and rescue injured birds. Levy says that there are four Tas wildlife officers for the whole of the state and they will not be able to effectively police a duck season hunt. Levy expects Vic duck shooters to be disappointed with the coming season.
